Q. How visible will you (the videographer) be throughout the day?

A. We know that the wedding ceremony is a sacred event. We don’t want to be a visible part of that. We don’t want to be in your wedding photos, or in our own footage. We strive to be invisible and to blend into the background of the day’s events. Our professional grade cameras, rock-solid tripods, and sensitive microphones allow us to remain at a distance and still capture the most intimate, detailed moments of your ceremony and reception.

Q. How do I get the most complete coverage?

A. There are two choices that you can make that determine what kind of coverage you’ll have on your wedding day.

      1. Number of Cameras
      2. Number of Camera Operators

Adding a camera to any production makes a greater impact on the viewer.  A video that is recorded from several different angles is much more compelling to watch and creates an elegant, ‘movie style’ polish to the production.  The more cameras, the stronger the effect.

The addition of a camera operator not only allows us to get better video of your wedding by concentrating more on each camera, but also allows us to literally be in two places at once to capture events in different areas of the church and reception hall.  When selected with the 'Pre-Ceremony Activities' option, we are able to dedicate one camera to the bride and one to the groom.

Q. How long will my wedding video be?

A. Obviously, this answer depends on the size and scope of the event. However, our goal in editing is to make a ‘feature length’ production that you can watch in 11/2 to 2 hours.

Q. Is there a convenient way to view just my favorite parts of the wedding video?

A. Yes. There are several ways to do this. First, there is the option of having an interactive DVD. This is a highly customized DVD with motion menus and sub-menus that allow you to instantly jump to any part of the wedding day.

Second is the Highlights Montage, included in the Feature and Premiere packages.  This is an emotional recap of the day, set to music. It is edited especially for the purpose of replaying your wedding day in a very artistic, creative, and beautiful manner.

Another option, included in our Premiere package, is a Highlights Video. This is your entire wedding production, condensed to include only the highlights of the day. So, while a typical wedding production runs between one and a half to two hours, the highlights video is usually between a half hour and forty five minutes.

Q. How much input will I have in the wedding video?

A. This is your wedding. It should reflect your style, your taste in music, and your personality. We meet with you before the wedding and discuss, in detail, exactly what you are looking for in your video. We try to learn every detail about your planning and preparation, so we know what is most important to you. We also discuss music choices for the video so that you love the way your production looks and sounds. Finally, we contact you when we begin editing, so you are involved in every step of the process.

Q. Will you use lights during the ceremony?

A. No. Most ceremonies are well-lit and easy to see, but even if a ceremony does not have perfect lighting, our cameras can adjust and allow enough light in through our lenses to boost the image and capture a crisp, clear visual. During the reception, however, we may have to use lights for an especially dark room. We stay at a distance and keep our lights low, so people do not notice they are being recorded. The reception is the most opportune time to capture the most candid, fun moments of the day.

Q. Can I add, subtract or trade options from different packages?

A. Yes. These packages are designed to be flexible to meet the individual needs of every couple. You can customize any package to make sure you get exactly the kind of wedding video you want. Please, take the time to check out all of the packages, and the package options. If you have any questions, please call or email us and we will help you in any way we can.

Q. How does payment work?

A. Once you have decided you would like to book us, a $500 deposit is required to hold your date. Once you choose the package that is right for you, we can draw up a contract and provide a total cost. Half of the payment is due before the wedding date. Of course, the $500 deposit is included in this initial half of the payment. The second half of the payment is due when we begin editing your project.
